The oriental lamp should however be well fitted with the size of the room and the other accessories should be perfectly aligned with it.
In this edition we will preferably focus on two major types of oriental lamps. While one of them belongs to the ancient style, the other belongs to the modern era. Both these styles are unique in their own ways and there are different ways in which these oriental lamps can be positioned for the purpose of home décor. The ancient style is mostly inclusive of elaborate paraphernalia comprising of Chinese calligraphy or the paintings related to the landscapes of China. These lamps will look best when they are counter decorated with simple and beige or white colored lamp shades and placed on a desk or a table with an equal light or aqueous background e.g. the wall which is depicting the background of the ancient style oriental lamps may have a wall hanging or a large picture consisting of a cascading waterfall. In fact, the ancient style lamp will exhibit the perfect aura or charisma only when it is kept at the right position in the room and with a perfect background.
As far as the power of light is concerned, it should not exceed 150 watts which will allow a sufficient flow of light in the room. In other words, the ancient style lamp would find a perfect balance in an isolated or a secluded environment. On the other hand, the modern style lamps are far less complicated and the jar will usually have a presence of a bold shade or color. Therefore these lamps can be placed in more industrious or active environments where they will stand apart and be noticed by the people occupying the room. However, the background or the wall against which this lamp will be placed should be painted with pastel shades which would exactly compliment the bold color of the jar of the lamp. By placing oriental lamps in a room, you will simply fall in love with its beauty.
